Facebook unveils Audience Insights feature to help marketers in getting an overview of their potential audiences. It is a new way for brands to learn about the target audience. Audience Insights is a new tool that has been designed to deliver more customer information to business advertising on Facebook for Business.
Facebook clarifies that it might sound something like Page Insights, but is different. Audience Insights looks at trends across Facebook while Page Insights provides interactions on a given page.
With use of Facebook Audience Insights, you will be able to aggregate information on geography, demographics, Facebook usage and lots more. It comes with loads of information to help you get better insight about who can be your target audience. You will get information on:
Demographics – Age and gender, relationship status, education, lifestyle etc.
Location and Language – Where do people live, and the languages they speak.
Page Likes – the section covers the top Pages that people like. Also, it shows pages in different categories like men’s apparel, kids’ clothing etc.
Facebook Usage – this is a very useful section that allows you to understand how frequently your target audience is logging onto Facebook. It helps you to make better decisions about your advertising campaigns. An additional benefit of this feature is that it also shows which device(s) they use for logging on. Just love this feature!
